Service and Workshop Engineer

Nailsea, Bristol

Circa £40,000 DOE + Pension + Life Assurance + Training and Development + Stay Away (£25 Additional Pay per Night)

Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

We are seeking a Service and Workshop Engineer for an industry-leading company experiencing continued growth. This role offers ongoing training and development opportunities and involves working across various industries including pharmaceutical, oil and gas, refineries, and utilities.

The ideal candidate will have an electromechanical background, with strengths in mechanical or electrical disciplines. The role involves splitting time between the company's site in Nailsea and customer sites, with approximately 80% of work within the UK and occasional work in Europe.

You will work on water treatment and soil and groundwater remediation projects, involving installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment. Installation work may require travel of up to a week, while most service and repair activities are completed within the same day.

The Service and Workshop Engineer Responsibilities:

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems
• 50:50 workshop and site-based work
• Working with 3-phase electrical equipment, inverters, PLCs, etc.
• Mechanical work involving hydraulics, pneumatics, valves, actuators, etc.

Candidate Requirements:

• Mechanical and/or electrical background
• Any engineering background considered
