Service Advisor

We are recruiting for a Service Advisor, Aftersales Advisor, Automotive Service Advisor or Service Receptionist to join a busy main dealership in Hemel Hempstead. Previous motor trade experience is not essential, with applications welcomed from strong customer service candidates with the right attitude and communication skills.

Location: Hemel Hempstead

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm with 1-hour lunch 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:00am-2:00pm

• OTE up to £46,929 for certified Service Advisors
• Strong earning potential through bonus
• Work alongside 9 Vehicle Technicians, 3 Service Advisors, an Assistant Manager and Workshop Controller

• Manage approximately 10-12 customer appointments per day
• Welcome customers and manage their vehicle service and repair journey
• Keep customers updated on repair progress and completion times
• Liaise with Vehicle Technicians and the Workshop Controller regarding repairs
• Explain additional maintenance and repair requirements clearly to customers
• Maintain accurate customer, booking and vehicle records
• Deliver excellent customer service throughout the Aftersales process
• Previous Service Advisor or automotive Aftersales experience is not essential
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Confident dealing with customers face-to-face and by telephone
• Good organisation and ability to manage multiple customer bookings
• Professional approach with the ability to work effectively within a busy dealership team
