Our client, a well established franchise approved car dealership in Cheltenham, is looking to recruit a professional and customer focused Vehicle Service Advisor. Duties of a Service Advisor
  • Greet customers in the Service Department and provide an excellent customer experience
  • Liaise with the workshop team to chase work in progress and update customers on their vehicle status
  • Schedule vehicle services, maintenance, and repairs efficiently
  • Upsell additional products and services where appropriate
  • Arrange courtesy vehicles when applicable
  • Liaise with manufacturers regarding warranty authorisations and warranty procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and vehicle history
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through clear communication and professional service
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or a similar customer service role within the automotive industry
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with customers effectivelyIT literacy, ideally with experience using Kerridge, ADP, or similar dealership management systems
  • Full UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Organisational skills to manage scheduling efficiently
  • Knowledge of warranty procedures is advantageous, though not essential
  • Ability to work well within a team and deliver exceptional customer service
