Senior/Principal IC Design Engineer

The Wi Fi IC Group is looking to strengthen our team with experienced and talented engineer. As a senior member of the IC Design team you will be responsible for digital IC design, integration and verification, developing Nordic Semiconductor's first generation of world leading ultra low power Wi Fi device.

Key responsibilities

• Development of Wi Fi products, including microcontrollers and connectivity
• Digital IC design and verification
• SoC integration and verification
• Proficiency in low power design
• ASIC/FPGA synthesis
• Specification work on sub modules or at chip level
• Technical guidance/mentoring for colleagues

Qualification and skills

• BSc/MSc in Electronics Engineering or similar
• 15+ years experience in digital IC design, verification, synthesis, static timing analysis or pre silicon prototyping
• Solid understanding of RTL design and verification principles, SoC implementation, synthesis and STA.
• Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work in a global matrix organization, navigating at all levels within the organization and balancing global vs. local needs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
