Job Description
Senior Yacht Nurse The Catalan & Balearic Crossing

Swansea, United Kingdom Posted on 14/02/2026

The Mission This is a distinctive career path for a highly skilled nursing professional from Swansea to transition into elite private healthcare. You will provide dedicated 1:1 care for an 80-year-old VIP aboard a luxury superyacht. The vessel's summer itinerary bridges the vibrant culture of the Spanish Mainland with the islands, featuring exclusive stops in the cosmopolitan marinas of Barcelona , the artistic haven of Cadaqués on the Costa Brava , and the rugged coastline of Begur before crossing to the Balearics. This role offers a dynamic blend of high-acuity clinical responsibility and the rich artistic heritage of Catalonia.

The Team You will integrate into a world-class medical unit, directed by a Lead British Doctor and supported by resident Physiotherapists. The nursing team consists entirely of Western-trained professionals, ensuring a cohesive, high-performance environment dedicated to clinical excellence and seamless care continuity.

The Safety To guarantee the highest standards of patient safety and nurse well-being, the rotation is structured around a strict double-nurse shift system . This ensures you are never working in isolation during clinical hours and provides genuine downtime to explore the Dali-inspired landscapes and hidden coves of the Costa Brava.

The Process We respect your time and current professional commitments. The recruitment pathway is streamlined through a secure online interview platform , allowing you to secure this prestigious position from Swansea before any international deployment is required.

Experience: Minimum of 4+ years in Acute Care (ICU, ER, or A&E) is mandatory.

Language: Native or C1 English fluency is essential.

Attributes: Must demonstrate exceptional clinical judgment, high discretion, and the ability to adapt to a luxury private environment.

Leave: 30 days of paid annual leave.
