Senior Workday Financials Analyst

Sanderson are working with a leading financial services organisation that puts customers at the centre of its business. As a Senior Workday Financials Analyst, you will be delivering large scale changes in areas such as Adaptive Planning and Workday Financials to introduce efficiency and automation across the service, allowing the company to thrive at scale by championing a culture of continuous service improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of system changes of varying scale within FPLC, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business strategy.
- Support SaaS Engineers by providing escalation assistance and contributing to their learning and development.
- Assess business risks and impacts associated with system changes, ensuring appropriate mitigation and maintaining system stability.
- Ensure all documentation related to changes is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with best practices.
- Work with the Finance function and wider business to maximise the value of the Workday product, including evaluating data requirements and developing reporting and dashboards.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong technical foundation in Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning, with configuration and delivery experience.
- Experience using IT service management tools (eg, ServiceNow, Jira) and understanding of HR, reporting, and business processes.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service.
- Flexible, adaptable, and highly organised, able to manage changing priorities with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to identify weaknesses in data and processes and recommend improvements, supporting better business outcomes.
This is a full-time, permanent role offering a starting salary up to £80,000 (DOE) and a remote-first working model.
