Senior Windows System Engineer

Your Role As Senior Windows System Engineer at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are part of the Windows System Engineering Team, which provides Windows and Citrix-based infrastructure services to our bank and provide support for operations and projects. You are interested in improving our setup according to industry best practices and are willing to take on responsibilities in an international context. Your Responsibilities

• Perform daily operational tasks necessary for providing a stable and robust environment, including monitoring, proactive maintenance, and problem resolution
• Support of infrastructure related projects in an international context
• Design solutions and work them out as a technical expert, including covering of security aspects
• Implement infrastructure related projects and services in the Windows area (Active Directory, MSSQL , MS Cluster, etc.)
• Provide support as a member of the on-call organization

Your Profile

• University degree (university / FH) in Computer Science
• Professional qualification as IT specialist
• 3 years of practical experience in the field of Microsoft server based enterprise environment
• MCSE certification is a plus
• Successful track record in ITIL methodology v3 at least
• Knowledge in Exchange, AD, Windows, Citrix and SQL Server is required
• Customer-oriented, open minded, and able to act as part of our team
• Ability to weight problems, set priorities and work with various stakeholder
• Willingness to take responsibility and ability to work under pressure
• Fluency in English; fluency in German is a plus
