Senior Warehouse Operative

About the role

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Senior Warehouse Operative supports the logistics function to ensure productivity, accuracy, and quality standards are consistently met in line with company procedures and National Lottery licence requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receipt, picking, packing, dispatch, and processing of scratch card returns in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee storage planning for scratch cards and consumables to optimise space and efficiency.
• Supervise dispatch and storage activities, ensuring operational standards are maintained.
• Operate and coordinate the pick & pack function, including stock balancing, transfers, and system updates at end-of-day.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels of consumables and warehouse inventory, including periodic stock counts.
• Ensure all logistics staff adhere to PPE requirements and maintain health & safety standards.
• Liaise with internal teams (Customer Support, Security & Compliance, Finance) and external distribution partners to support smooth operations.
• Support the Logistics Manager in delivering overall logistics requirements and deputise when required, including site opening/closing.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
