Julian Rogers Auto Services Ltd is an established independent garage in Gloucester city centre. We are looking for an experienced Senior Technician to join our friendly and professional team of skilled technicians and service receptionists.

Duties & Responsibilities

Diagnose vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment
Carry out servicing and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including light commercial vans
Repairs to include brakes, steering, suspension, clutches, timing belts and timing chains
Work independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship
Take a lead role within the workshop
Confidently deal with customers face to face, explaining work required and completed

Requirements

Proven experience as a senior or highly skilled vehicle technician
Strong diagnostic skills
Competent in all aspects of vehicle servicing and repair
Able to work independently and manage workload
Confident customer-facing manner
MOT testing licence preferred but not essential
Full UK driving licence required
Must have own comprehensive hand tool kit (specialist tools supplied)

Salary £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience (min 4 years as a qualified tech).
23 days holiday per annum (3 days allocated for Christmas shutdown)
