Role Purpose

The Senior Treasury Analyst plays a critical role within the treasury function, supporting the Senior Treasury Manager and Group Treasurer, in managing the organisation's liquidity, cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and financial risk. This position supports strategic treasury initiatives, provides analytical insight into cash and debt positions, and ensures optimal working capital management.

What you will be doing

  • Monitor and manage daily cash positions across global bank accounts, ensuring sufficient liquidity.
  • Support execution and tracking of intercompany funding, cash pooling, and FX transactions
  • Analyse foreign currency exposures and support the execution of hedging strategies.
  • Prepare accurate short-term cash flow forecasts, identifying trends and risks.
  • Provide support to coordinate and maintain relationships with banking partners, ensuring compliance with covenants and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain the debt schedule and support the administration of loan facilities and interest payments
  • Assist in the development of treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Support the team with the issuance of bank guarantees, maintaining the guarantee schedule and identifying guarantees that are due for expiry for Menzies Group
  • Evaluate and implement treasury systems and automation improvements.
  • Prepare treasury-related reporting for senior leadership, including liquidity dashboards and compliance metrics.
  • Collaborate with accounting, tax, legal, and FP&A teams to support treasury-related activities.
  • Support ad hoc projects including M&A, refinancing, and system implementations.
  • Support the development and mentoring of junior team members, sharing expertise and fostering knowledge transfer within the team

What we are looking for

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
  • 3-5+ years of treasury, finance, or accounting experience in a multinational or corporate setting.
  • Strong understanding of cash flow, liquidity management, FX, and debt instruments.
  • Advanced Excel skills formula and macro level
  • Experience with treasury or ERP systems (e.g., Kyriba, FIS).
  • High attention to detail and analytical mindset.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Desirable:
    • ACT qualification (or part-qualified) or equivalent treasury certification.
    • Experience with cash pooling, netting, or in-house banking.
    • Knowledge of international banking regulations and cross-border treasury operations.
