Senior Travel Underwriter - 28714

Support the development of technical underwriting competency across the Underwriting function.

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):

1. Safeguard the future profitability of the Travel line of business.
2. Ensure that new and renewal business pricing proposals align with the company's profitability objectives and underwriting policy.
3. Partner with Sales colleagues to achieve ambitious growth targets.
4. Collaborate with business partners and brokers in selected cases to gather necessary information for qualified underwriting decisions.
5. Minimum 7+ years' experience in underwriting, actuarial, or similar roles.
6. Proven knowledge of and experience with technical underwriting, including reserving, earning models, IBNR, and their practical application to pricing.
7. Experience working with Excel and PowerBI/MicroStrategy.
8. Knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python, SAS, Radar) is a plus.
