Senior Test Specialist

Location: Basingstoke (Hybrid)

Salary: £48k plus 3% bonus and 10% bonus once DV is through

Clearance: Eligible for DV Clearance. Can start under SC Clearance.

You will join a global IT consultancy delivering digital transformation to the UK government. As a Senior Test Specialist, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on delivering high assurance services and solutions.

Your role:

Working alongside dedicated professionals, you will seek better, faster, and more effective testing methods. You will lead by example, develop your team and emerging talent, and contribute to strengthening the Test Practice and building our reputation as a center of excellence. Core Skills:

• Manual and Automated testing, including Non-functional, Functional, and End-to-End Testing for Applications, Infrastructure, Hardware, and Regression
• Producing Test artefacts such as Test Plans, Test Scripts, Test Reports, and managing Defects
• Experience with Windows Server 2019, Active Directory, SCOM, SCCM, VM Ware
• Execution of Manual Test Scripts
• Requirements Management
• Understanding of delivery methodologies like Agile, V-Model, and Waterfall
• Providing support to Program and Project Managers for testing delivery
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong relationship-building skills with peers and colleagues
• ISTQB Foundation Level or above qualification
