Senior Test Engineer - Relocation to Luxembourg

For an European organization in Luxembourg, we are urgently looking for a Senior Test Consultant.

EU candidates are welcome to apply. Candidates need to be based in Luxembourg or willing to relocate to Luxembourg.

Work permit is not provided. Candidates need to be fluent in English.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Produce test design specifications - test cases, the applicable Test Plans and to execute the test plans;
• Design test scenarios to ensure 100% coverage of requirements; prepare test cases (the ones which cannot be automated) and automated test scripts to test the identified scenarios;
• Conduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by the development team is defect-free;
• Execute the required test cases and analyse the results;
• Report on the test results;
• Coordinate all testing activities specific to the development team (unit testing, integration testing and FAT);
• Leverage automation testing as much as possible;
• Manage the testing tools, including automation testing tool, defect tracking tool, test management tool, etc.;
• Plan and control that any changes to the system are validated in accordance with specifications and requirements;

Profile:

• Bachelor or Master degree;
• +7 years of automated and manual software testing experience, and experience with Automation Testing tools (e.g., TOSCA, QTP), Test Management tool (Qtest, QC), Requirements and Defect Management tools (Jira), Code Quality Review tools (e.g., SonarQube), Test Execution Monitoring tools (Splunk);
• Proven experience with testing technologies and tools (defined in CSI Technology Portfolio Catalogue to be shared by the Contracting Authority);
• Ability to understand the functional and technical design of a given IT system/application;
• Having a valid ISTQB Certification
• Fluent in English;
