Role Overview- You will be a key player in the success of delivering Testing with OCS. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver effective business and technical change to the way we run our business and deliver our services.
- You will be responsible for producing the test approach, plan, scripts for test preparation and complete test execution for projects. This will cover functional, non-functional testing and defect management.
- You will be supported by using inhouse methods and tools, which include Azure Dev Ops.
- To do this, this role will need to be able to plan testing requirements, manage stakeholders, design and execute testing and complete defect management. This will involve working with third parties for some projects and programs.
- As the lead tester this role also provides the opportunity to shape and develop the role and used testing procedures and systems.
- Capture and plan all testing requirements and scenarios
- Produce test scripts/testing materials and co-ordinate and execute test cycles
- Complete all testing phases including non-functional testing, functional testing, regression testing and UAT
- Co-ordinate testing activities with the required business areas/application owners and third parties
- Co-ordinate the defect management process for all testing activities
- Produce progress and management information reports, as and when required
- Potential to cover for the Business Analyst when required
- Exercise independent judgment, reasonable care, skill and diligence when carrying out their duties.

- Adhere to and promote the Group's policies on equality & diversity, information security, health and safety and data protection in the performance of their duties and the management of the people reporting into them.
- Support and promote the sustainability plans and policies and carry out duties in a resource effective way, recognising the shared responsibility of minimising negative environmental impacts wherever possible.
Must have a good standard of education to degree level and must display relevant Test Management experience.
Desired- Relevant professional qualifications, such as ISEB Testing Certifications
- Facilities Management qualifications are desirable
- Project Management certification would provide a strong advantage (E.g., Prince II, Agile, MSP, PMP)
- Evidence of ongoing learning ability essential.
- Testing experience in a business environment and IT projects
- A proven track record of delivering successful testing for integration and DevOps projects
- Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in testing processes and methodologies, including the project lifecycle
- Strong technical aptitude and computer proficiency, including MS Office Suite and Jira
- Able to demonstrate basic understanding of the deployed technologies across the enterprise and of multiple system platforms
- Experience of facilities management and CAFM products
