Senior Terraform Engineer

Our consultancy client are looking for a number of experience Terraform engineers to work for a client delivering scalable, secure and high performance Azure based data platforms enabling analytics, BI and AI powered data solutions in a highly regulated environment. You will be an expert in IaC on Azure to design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform, automate CI/CD pipelines and support Azure data platforms and AI services.

Key responsibilities are to design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform in a secure, scalable, and compliant way and develop reusable Terraform modules and templates following DRY and best-practice principles. You will automate Azure service deployments (Data Factory, Synapse, Key Vault, Storage, AI/ML services, networking) with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub) and integrate observability (monitoring, logging, alerting) into infrastructure code. Implement secure-by-design networking and identity solutions (private endpoints, app gateways, Key Vault, managed identities) and manage Terraform state, workspaces, drift detection, and remediation.

HashiCorp certifications would be a distinct advantage as would the AZ-400 and other relevant Azure certs. You will need to be in the office 2 days a week and the roles will be inside IR35.
