About the Company

We are a global provider of advanced security solutions, specializing in IP CCTV cameras, video management software (VMS), and cloud-based services (VSaaS). As we continue our expansion across Europe, we are looking to hire a Senior Technical Support Engineer to join our dynamic team based in Hoofddorp, Netherlands.


The Role

This is a hybrid position, combining on-site and remote work. You'll be part of our post-sales technical team, supporting customers across the region with:

  • 1st and 2nd line technical support for hardware and software solutions
  • Managing and maintaining customer relationships through effective troubleshooting and training
  • Setting up and operating a local test lab to validate products and firmware
  • Escalating issues and providing feedback to the global HQ
  • Playing a key role in building and mentoring a growing European technical team


Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to IP CCTV, NVRs, VMS, and VSaaS platforms
  • Deliver technical training and remote/on-site support to customers and partners
  • Liaise with internal product and engineering teams to address product feedback and escalate bugs
  • Document solutions, create technical guides, and contribute to knowledge bases
  • Travel occasionally for site visits, training sessions, and customer support


Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in technical support within the electronic security or security software industry
  • Background working for a security manufacturer or vendor
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of IP CCTV systems, network video recorders (NVRs), video management software (VMS), and cloud security solutions (VSaaS)
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Previous team leadership or management experience is desirable
  • Flexibility to travel when required
