Job Description
Senior Technical Program Manager, Autonomous Security

Job ID: Amazon UK Services Ltd.

At Amazon, security is central to maintaining customer trust and delivering delightful customer experiences. Our organization is responsible for creating and maintaining a high bar for security across all of Amazon's products and services. We offer talented security professionals the chance to accelerate their careers with opportunities to build experience in a wide variety of areas including cloud, devices, retail, entertainment, healthcare, operations, and physical stores.

Overview

As a Technical Program Manager in Autonomous Security Execution (ASX), you'll hold a unique dual-focus position that combines hands-on product development with strategic program leadership. This role sits at the intersection of technical innovation and organizational effectiveness, requiring both depth in security product development and breadth in program management.

Product Portfolio Leadership
  • You will drive the technical program management for four products within our autonomous security suite: Raise (Remediation), Raise Shield (prevention), Artoo (pentest), and AutoTriage (bug bounty).
  • This involves deep engagement with engineering teams, driving solution design, and ensuring successful delivery of features and capabilities.
  • You'll navigate technical complexities, drive the right critical trade-off decisions, and maintain the balance between speed and quality.
  • Success means not just managing each product independently, but understanding and leveraging the synergies between them to create a cohesive security solution.
ASX Program Leadership
  • Beyond individual products, you'll serve as the program backbone for AutoSecExecution (ASX), connecting various workstreams and initiatives across the organization.
  • This requires proactive identification of collaboration opportunities, creation of meaningful partnerships, and development of clear communication channels.
  • You'll be responsible for crafting and delivering the broader ASX narrative to partners and leadership, ensuring our mission and achievements are well understood across Amazon Security.
Strategic Impact

Your role extends beyond day-to-day execution into strategic planning and future-state development. You'll identify emerging trends, customer needs, and potential areas for innovation within the autonomous security space. This involves regular engagement with stakeholders across Amazon's security ecosystem, gathering insights, and translating them into actionable plans. You'll need to balance immediate product needs with long-term strategic objectives, ensuring our technology investments align with broader organizational goals.

Cross-functional Engagement

Success in this role requires building and maintaining strong relationships across organizational boundaries. You'll create bidirectional communication channels with partners and leaders, ensuring information flows effectively in both directions. This means not just sharing updates, but actively seeking feedback, identifying opportunities for collaboration, and fostering a culture of partnership. You'll be the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear business value.

This role demands a unique blend of technical depth, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable diving into technical discussions with engineers and presenting strategic visions to executive leadership. They will thrive in ambiguity and demonstrate the ability to drive results across both product development and program management domains.
