We are passionate about our products and aim to put the customer at the heart of everything we do. We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team in Hull.

About the role

We are currently recruiting a Senior Team Leader for our 06:00-14:00 shift at our Hull Site to lead and develop an Operations Team, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient order fulfilment, with a focus on health and safety, product quality, cost control, and team engagement.

• Ideally a background in food manufacturing

• The ability to coach, lead as well as manage

• Open, honest, and respectful relationships with all colleagues.

• Ability to work as part of a wider Manufacturing Team, including NPD and support functions.

• Excellent planning and organisational skills.

• Flexibility - to meet the demands of the role.

The role of Senior Team Leader (06:00 - 14:00)

• Ensure the team and its people conform to SHE legislation, policies, and standards.

• Take a pro-active approach to the reduction of accidents, risks, and hazards on the plant to create a safe working environment.

• Ensure all product released meets Food Safety and Quality standards/legislation

• Ensure the team are compliant in traceability, document control and completion

• Ensure the team always adheres to company food hygiene procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.

• Effectively manage controllable costs of labour, raw materials and waste and ensure stock accuracy.

• Deliver the production schedule on time and in full.

• Drive the performance of the line across the areas of OEE, waste, weights and operational downtime.

• Lead, motivate, train and develop the team to deliver business requirements.

• Ensure the team consistently adheres to all policies and procedures.

• Support the shift manager in developing a succession plan for the team.

• Create a Continuous Improvement culture.
