You're expected to have completed 12 months in roleprior to applying for an advertised vacancy and you should alsodiscuss the internal opportunity with your line manager to ensuresustained business continuity and to further support your careerdevelopment.

What you'll be doing:
• Applying a breadth of knowledge,skills and experience of Systems Engineering principles andtechniques to develop technical solutions and resolve engineeringissues
• Discern and decompose requirementsto system and sub-system level and manage these in an approvedtoolset such as IBM DOORSNext
• Collaborating with specialistsacross different engineering disciplines including electronics,electrical, mechanical and software to realise overarching systemdesign solutions
• Contribute to definition and articulation of underpinnedthrough production of customer acceptanceevidence
• Through these activities you will build your personalprofile with senior stakeholders and grow a diverse knowledge basein radar engineering
Your skills andexperience:
• An understanding of at least one ofthe following subject areas; signal processing, target trackextraction, object classification algorithms, system, and sensorresource optimisation
• An appreciation of factors that canaffect the real-world performance of sensing systems and how thesecan impact the accuracy and timeliness of measurements in order tomeet challenging design objectives andrequirements
• Demonstrates understanding andexperience of Systems Engineering which could include knowledge ofSystems Engineering standards (e.g., ISO15288
• Higher education (or equivalentexperience) in a relevant STEMdiscipline

You will be working as a SeniorSystems Engineer within our close-knit Multi-Function Radar team ofinter-disciplinary engineers, evolving our radar portfolio ofexisting and brand-new radar products to address emerging andfuture threats in the realm of Future AirDominance.
With demonstrable experience incontemporary Systems Engineering, you will become an integralmember of a growing team to deliver next generation technologysolutions and help develop our junior systems engineeringpopulation.
This role is a fantasticopportunity to enhance your skills and invest in your careerjourney within a global business.
