Hybrid 80% homeworking available and 20% in Stratford-upon-Avon About the roleWe're looking for a Senior Systems Architect to join our Architecture team, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Platform, and customer data management. As a Senior Systems Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of NFU Mutual's customer platforms. You'll be the subject matter expert for our Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform environment, ensuring it continues to evolve in line with business needs. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, IT leaders and project teams to design solutions that are robust, scalable and aligned to our technical strategy. You'll also provide thought leadership, creating and maintaining architecture patterns and standards, and contributing to governance boards where you'll review proposals and influence direction. In this role, you will take architectural ownership of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and the associated Power Platform technologies, acting as the subject matter expert and providing architectural leadership across a variety of business programmes and projects. You will help to shape NFU Mutual's technical roadmap, identifying opportunities for upgrades, enhancements and new features, while ensuring these align with the organisation's strategic direction. Alongside this, you will play an integral role in the rollout of Master Data Management (MDM), supporting data strategy and integration initiatives. A critical aspect of the role will be the creation and maintenance of architectural patterns, principles and standards, ensuring consistency and quality across our technology landscape. You will also contribute actively to governance boards, reviewing and challenging proposals to guarantee cost-effectiveness, compliance, and alignment with enterprise standards. Equally important will be your ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business, preparing and presenting technical papers to senior IT leadership and, on occasion, the Executive Committee. About youThis is a highly collaborative role, requiring both deep technical expertise and strong communication skills, as you'll often be presenting to peers, senior management and occasionally to our Executive Committee. We're looking for someone with: Proven experience as a Senior Systems Architect or similar, ideally within a complex enterprise environment. Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Co-Pilot). Good understanding of SharePoint and its integration within the Microsoft ecosystem. Experience working with Master Data Management solutions. A track record of developing and applying architecture standards and patterns. Experience contributing to architecture governance forums. Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and presentation skills - including communication at senior leadership level. Essential technical skills would include but are not limited to: Expertise in Dynamics 365 Sales Module: Lead and opportunity management, sales forecasting, pipeline tracking, quote/order processing. Customisation & Configuration: Entities, forms, views, business rules, workflows, and security roles. Power Platform Integration: Power Apps (Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Dataverse. API & Integration Skills: REST APIs, Azure Logic Apps, and custom connectors. Data Management & Migration: ETL processes, data import/export, and synchronisation. Security & Access Control: Azure AD authentication, role-based access, and environment-level security. Experience with Power BI Integration, Microsoft 365 Touchpoints, Azure Services, DevOps & ALM: Azure DevOps for packaging, deployment pipelines, and version control would be highly desirable.
