Are you looking for a chance to work on unique, award-winning engineering projects across the public, private, and education sectors? Our client is offering a passionate Structural Engineer the opportunity to engage with a fascinating portfolio, including the refurbishment of Carrubbers Church in Edinburgh, the West Calder Museum (Co-operative Discovery Center), various castles, high-end domestic extensions, and the Boathouse at Loch Ard, among others.

As part of a close-knit design team of 15 problem-solving engineers based just a 10-minute walk from Princes Street, you'll have the creative freedom to influence the design process and occasionally take the lead on specific projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with colleagues and manage your own workload
• Engage in the design and refurbishment of historic buildings and conservation projects
• Work independently while also contributing to team efforts

Ideal Candidate:

We're looking for a proactive problem solver with a genuine interest in conservation and historic building design. You should be comfortable working autonomously and thrive in a collaborative environment. You'll report directly to the two directors, who are committed to fostering a supportive and mentoring culture. Due to project demands ideally you will be Chartered or very close to achieving this.
