Senior Structural Analyst

Your opportunity

As a Senior Structural Analyst, you will have the chance to contribute to projects from the initial proposal phase through to delivery, gaining experience in all aspects of the project lifecycle. It also gives you the opportunity to showcase and develop a wide range of skills including structural engineering, project management, CAD modeling, calculations, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

What you will do

• Performing required technical calculations to validate the design
• Responsible for the integration of delivered components and systems into ship design
• Ensuring full compliance with all applicable requirements and specifications
• Developing and describing standards and working methods.
• Supporting engineering of an outsourced package, design checks, and design reviews
• Defending technical solutions and communicating them to stakeholders
• Performing technical evaluations of quotations from suppliers and subcontractors in close cooperation with the purchasing department
• Integrating vendor and subcontractor information

What you already have

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• +5 years of experience in ship structures, particularly as a Senior Structural Analyst in the shipbuilding or offshore industry.
• Proficiency in FEM modeling and analysis software (ANSYS, NX, or FEMAP) and CAD systems (NUPAS 3D, 3DX, or Catia).
• Familiarity with ship class calculations and tools (e.g., DNV-GL Nauticus Hull, LR-SSC, or BV MARS2000).
• Strong problem-solving skills, accuracy, and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• EU citizenship required
