Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centred care to the highest professional standards.
  • Provide clinical leadership, mentoring, and support to nursing and healthcare staff.
  • Assist in coordinating daily ward or department activity to ensure efficient patient flow.
  • Participate actively in care planning, assessment, and evaluation.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and promote best practice.
  • Support training, induction, and professional development of junior staff.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical governance, safeguarding, infection control, and regulatory standards.
  • Act as an escalation point and support clinical decision-making when required.
  • Build strong relationships with patients, families, and the wider clinical team.

Qualifications
  • NMC-registered nurse with substantial post-registration experience.
