Senior Staff Engineer DFT (f/m/div)

Take charge of implementing and verifying DFT circuitry for Infineon microcontrollers, including scan insertion, ATPG, LBIST, and MBIST. Support silicon bring-up for stable test patterns, drive advancements in DFT methodology, and mentor future talent in this impactful role.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Self-driven implementation of the DFT circuitry for Infineon microcontroller products
• Perform scan insertion, ATPG, LBIST and MBIST
• Verify DFT implementation and deliver test patterns for production testing
• Support silicon bring up activities to ensure the highest stability of the test pattern
• Contribute to the overall microcontroller DFT methodology
• Mentoring younger talents

Your Profile

As a Senior Staff Engineer DFT, you have a good sense for current trends and deduces potential improvements for your own team. Furthermore, you concentrate your creativity and knowledge on producing results with real added value. Lastly, you can inspire others and encourage them for the common goal.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics or a similar field
• Profound knowledge about semiconductor products
• At least 8 years of experience in DFT of highly complex SoCs
• Expert Knowledge of DFT methods for state-of-the-art MPU/MCU products
• Very good knowledge of DFT RTL insertion including MBIST and SRAM repair
• Solid experience of scan insertion and ATPG
• Experience of debugging test pattern issues
• Programming or scripting experience
• Good communication within cross-functional teams
• Fluency in English
