The role leads development across SQL, ingestion, and frontend/backend streams, ensuring positions, exposures, pricing, and P&L outputs are performant, and aligned with agreed business SQL EngineerOur client is a trading company in GenevaDescriptionEnd-to-end technical ownership: Acts as the single technical owner for the CRR accountable for solution coherence, correctness, performance, and scalability across all development risk logic leadership: Leads the design and of SQL-based risk logic, including base, semantic, and reporting layers, with primary hands-on responsibility for complex and performance X : Provides technical leadership across SQL developers, engineers, and full stack engineers, ensuring alignment across ingestion, layers, APIs, and user correctness and integrity: Ensures consistency and correctness of positions, exposures, pricing, and P&L outputs across end-of-day and reporting use cases.Architecture and design stewardship: Guides and reviews architectural decisions across ingestion pipelines, OpenSearch, and .NET/React-based UI and API layers.Business and domain partnership: Partners closely with the Senior Business Analyst and Domain Modeler to business requirements into implementable technical designs, providing feasibility assessment and technical guidance.Technical risk and debt management: Identifies, assesses, and proactively manages technical risks, performance bottlenecks, and technical debt to protect stability and long-term maintainability.Delivery and production readiness: Supports release planning, cutovers, and production readiness, ensuring availability, performance and stability.Engineering standards and quality: Defines and enforces standards for SQL development, quality, lineage, DevOps and coding practices, and design across the CRR engineering team.Mentorship and capability uplift: Mentors engineers across streams X to raising overall engineering quality, consistency, and technical within the CRR team.ProfileMinimum X 10 years of relevant work experience, typically reflecting+ years in engineering roles delivering or analytics-driven experience owning end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-stream X , with deep hands-on responsibility in SQL experience delivering trading or risk preferably in commodities or capital markets ability to balance hands-on technical contribution with architectural leadership and cross-team skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.Required SQL development and performance understanding of modeling, layers, and lineageProven experience implementing complex risk or analytical logic in to reason across ingestion, API, and UI consumption layersStrong system X spanning services, and reporting interfacesExperience owning production readiness and end-to-end solution deliveryGood to Have:Experience with distributed large-scale with OpenSearch or search-based analytics knowledge of .NET backend services and React/AG Grid-based frontendsExperience with SAP ODP, CTRMs, or enterprise to architectures and AWS-based package jid0726f24aen jit0310aen jpiy26aen
