Senior Software Engineer

Salary: £95,000 - £115,000 + Equity

Job Description

You will help build a cloud-based SaaS platform that empowers engineers to utilize state of the art image based AI. By bridging the gap between machine learning and materials science, you will enable the design of sustainable, high performance materials. This high ownership role involves shaping architectural foundations, from backend infrastructure toperformance visual interfaces.

What you will do:

• Lead the design and delivery of end to end features using TypeScript, React, and Python based ML orchestration.
• Scale cloud infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes to support complex machine learning workflows.

The ideal candidate:

• Has 5+ years of experience as a product focused engineer with strong fundamentals in API design and database modeling.
• Possesses a deep understanding of statically typed languages and experience deploying systems on modern cloud infrastructure.
• Demonstrates a STEM oriented mindset with a passion for solving complex, scientific problems through pragmatic engineering.
