What You'll Be Doing

You'llworkin acollaborativeagile teamwithfrontend and backendengineers, a product manager, andanengineering manager.

You'llpartnerwith groups such asDesignorDataon occasion.

With your teammates,you'llshape anddeliver an exciting roadmapthat continues the growth and transformation of this beloved 150-year-old retailer.

You'llhelp tosetand drive themetrics thatdefine your team's success.

You'lldriveyour products forwardin ahigh-agility, high-ownershipenvironmentwithout somebody always watching over your shoulder.

Required Experience

• A strong backgroundinsoftware development usingJava, Kotlin, orsimilar.

• Experienceworkingwithframeworks and tools such asSpring Boot, SpringWebFlux,orProject Reactor.

• Practical experience and understanding ofApache Kafka.

• Experience with bothRDBMSand NoSQL databases, e.g. PostgreSQL, DynamoDB

• Experience buildingonAWSor other public cloud platforms.

• Strong experience of working with a modern development toolchain-e.g.Git,Gradle, Docker, GitLab CI/CD pipelines

• A practical understanding ofarchitecting andbuildingdistributed systemsandAPIs.

• Experience with various testing toolsandmethodologies, e.g.TDD.

FE experience with React would be a plus.
