Senior Full Stack JavaScript Developer

• Salary: Up to £65,000
• Working Arrangement: Hybrid 2-3 days p/w onsite in Bristol
• Reports to: Director of Technology

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack JavaScript Developer to join our client in the automotive sector. You'll be working on their core applications, helping them build scalable and maintainable solutions using a modern JavaScript-based tech stack.

• Front End: Vue.js (or another JS framework), CSS frameworks
• Back End: Node.js, MySQL (Desirable: Java or PHP)
• General: Full JavaScript/TypeScript stack for simplicity and consistency

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable Front End applications using Vue.js (or similar JS frameworks)
• Build and optimise Back End services using Node.js/Deno and MySQL
• Ensure responsive, accessible, and performant UI/UX
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise performance across the stack

Requirements:

• Commercial experience as a Full-Stack JavaScript Developer in a Senior capacity
• Strong proficiency in Vue.js (or another Front End framework like React/Angular)
• Solid experience with Node.js or Deno for Back End development
• Proficiency in MySQL and database design principles
• Experience working with CSS frameworks (eg, Tailwind, Bootstrap)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and best practices for Back End services
• Ability to write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
