Your mission as a Senior C# .NET Software Engineer

You will be working in a team focused on innovating & building stable solutions across product lines and as a Senior C# .NET Software Engineer, your mission will be to create software that will help our customers detect fraud through designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable C# applications & through creation of new APIs.


What will you have achieved as a Senior C# .NET Software Engineer after one year?

You have been part of an experienced and dedicated team that focused on improving fraud detection & user-experience across different products. You will have participated in building cloud native solutions. You have been instrumental in delivering the back-end API which are scalable and well documented. Your team will have generated new innovative ideas that require data that is not yet available. You have been instrumental in delivering the back-end APIs that were used to test out different ideas, showcase potential new features and significantly improve the user experience across multiple products.


You have worked together with multiple teams to understand requirements, proposed and discussed possible solutions to make sure that your vision is implementable and meets the requirements. You have ensured this solution utilized best practices, making this a contribution for the whole company.


You took initiative during stand-ups and you encouraged colleagues to get the best out of themselves and the team(s). What does this mean on a daily day basis?

- You have created excellent code, reviewed and solved technical problems

- You have participated in stand-ups, sprint reviews and internal knowledge sharing

- You may have learned Dutch! (we offer free language courses for our employees)

What was the most complexed product that you coded in your life? Think about your role in this process and the influences of your team members. Was it a team effort? Was the product brand new or did you have to deal with legacy? In other words, how would you see yourself as a developer? Are you the one that likes to improve software in an innovative and functional way? Are you in for challenges like scalability, renew old coding and start new changes to improve? Who are you?


Someone who is up for a challenge, you have to be an entrepreneurial developer!. You are a great team player: proactive, communicative and like to challenge people to get to the next level. With at least 5y experience with back-end frameworks in your backpack, you have worked with and have a good understanding of at least:

  • Software architecture and design principles
  • OOP Principles
  • Event driven architecture
  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET
  • CI/CD
  • Unit- and integration testing

Finally, it's a nice touch if you have experience with at least one of:

  • JavaScript/Vue 3/Vuetify 3
  • Cloud Providers (e.g. Azure)
  • Docker
  • K8S
  • Authorization
  • GraphQL
