In this role, you will join the local experts for continuous integration (CI) and DevOps productivity tools. You'll interact with them and with developers and with quality engineering (QE) teams, working with the latest technologies in the market today like Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Prow, Jenkins, Podman/Docker, Python, bash and GoLang. Develop, operate, maintain and use open-source CI systems for the use of the product development teams Drive CI and CD-related projects and communities using Prow, Kubernetes, Tekton, OpenShift CI and Jenkins Serve as a professional authority in how open-source projects should be built, tested and released continuously and reproducibly. Work with other development and quality engineering (QE) teams to ensure that the CI and CD service covers all the required needs Contribute to KubeVirt and adjacent projects in bugfixes, tests and new features Eventually maintain and develop 5+years of experience developing software in Java/Python/Rust/C++ or a similar language. Experience in GoLang is a must Experience with Linux system programming and writing shell scripts Expertise in CI systems: 3+ years of experience developing pipelines, knowledge of several CI providers Interest in monitoring: deployment and maintenance of monitoring stacks (especially Prometheus-based), instrumentation of code to expose metrics, development of dashboards and alert rules.
