Senior Software Engineer - Backend

£60,000 - £80,000 roughly + bonus

Hybrid - 2 days per week in Bristol

What you'll be doing:

• Drive high standards of code quality, documentation, and engineering practices.
• Mentor other engineers and uplift the team's technical capabilities.
• Own technical decisions, contribute to architectural discussions, and lead by example.
• Help teams reduce technical debt, improve testing and embed security at the core of development.
• Work with modern tools and cloud technologies to build scalable, robust Back End services.
• Champion agile values and DevOps culture across cross-functional teams.

What you'll bring:

• Expertise in C#, .NET Core, .NET 8, SQL, Cosmos DB, and proficiency in Azure and Kubernetes.
• A deep understanding of agile software development and engineering best practices.
• A passion for mentoring, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
• The ability to think bigger picture while keeping an eye on technical detail.
• A self-motivated, solution-oriented mindset.
• Experience working with large, complex systems in fast-paced environments.
