Senior Software Architect - Java

Leads in the overall design of cross-functional, multi-platform, and Web, Mobile, API and embedded finance -based application systems; oversees all application system architecture, design and build of all digital channels. Develops application design and detailed architecture aimed at reflecting enterprise standards. Defines application components, platforms, interfaces, and development tools. Directs mapping activities on specific technology platforms. Provides technical guidance to application development teams and providing SME knowledge. Consults with business and creates solution design Conducts reviews, and analyses organizational needs and goals to develop and implement applications. Reports Directly to the C&IB Head of Digital Technology <- not sure if we want to mention this or not at this stage. Experience designing and building highly available, complex business applications, ideally that come from a customer facing applications like Online Banking Acumen for building both architecture and design Hands on coding and architectural experience within Java related technologies Experience building secure applications and data streaming through the use of Kafka or other related tools.
