The ideal candidate will:

• Have aqualification at level 7 on the National Framework of Qualificationsin Social Care, Social Work, Youth Work, Teaching, Nursing, Childcare with disability modules (or other relevant discipline)
• Have sufficient experience of working in a residential, respiteor day service setting with people with an intellectual disability so as to be able to discharge the full range of duties, functions, responsibilities and activities, required of the role.
• Be CORU Registered as Social Care Workerorin process of registration.
