Senior Social Care Intake Team Lead

Walsall Council is seeking a Customer Team Leader (Social Work Qualified) to head the Adult Social Care Initial Intake Team, the first point of access for residents needing support. You will lead from the front, coach staff, and ensure timely, person-centred decisions with safeguarding at the heart of practice.

You will work with social workers, safeguarding teams and health partners, promoting independence and community-based solutions while reducing unnecessary escalations.
