Job Title - Senior Site Engineer

Project - New Build Residential

Job Location - North Dublin / Airport

Salary - €75K - €85K + package

Consistently busy Main Contractor with a reputation for delivering a variety of commercial and residential projects across the Midlands and North Leinster region.

They require a senior site engineer for a new residential development they are building in the North Dublin area - would suit someone from Newry/Dundalk/Drogheda/Navan etc.

They are keen to chat to engineers with 5+ years' experience in the Irish Construction Industry on building projects - residential projects would be preferred.

This will be a senior role on the project - working alongside the Project Management Teams as well as the design team and architects to ensure successful completion.

• Assisting the Project Manager and Site manager to ensure successful site set up, delivery and handover of the project.
• Monitoring setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings, specifications and building regulations.
• Oversee engineering team and supervise subcontractor works.
• Perform checks on the quality of works completed to ensure works are done to a high standard.
• Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in the planning of daily tasks for the project.
• Supervise trades on site and act as a point of contact for subbies, architect and client.
• Ensure H&S standards are met and adhered to on site.
• Support the Project Manager and Senior Engineer to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
• Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.

• A Degree in Construction Management & Engineering, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience with a Main Contractor in the Republic of Ireland.
• Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works coordination.
