Our client, is currently seeking a Senior Service Support Engineer to join their teamJob description:We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Senior Service Support Engineer to join our HVAC division. This role combines technical sales support, estimation, and hands-on project involvement. You will work closely with senior engineers, contractors, and suppliers to assist with the design, quotation, specification, and maintenance of HVAC systems across a wide range of building types.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 5+ years in their HVAC career and looking to grow within a dynamic, supportive team.Key Responsibilities• Assist with the design, selection, and quotation of HVAC systems including MVHR, ductwork, pipework, chilled water, and heating/cooling solutions.• Prepare technical reports, schedules, specifications, and tender documents.• Support project delivery by liaising with contractors, consultants, and suppliers.• Attend site visits, assisting with surveys, inspections, and commissioning.• Ensure HVAC designs meet energy efficiency, sustainability, and regulatory standards (e.g. ASHRAE, CIBSE, LEED, BREEAM).• Stay current with building regulations, HVAC technologies, and best practices.• Provide after-sales technical support and assist with service and maintenance queries.• Report on activities and maintain organised project and diary records.RequirementsEssential:• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.• Prior experience in HVAC, M&E, or building services roles.• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or HVAC design software (e.g. Hevacomp, IES VE, HAP).• Strong interest and understanding of HVAC systems and building services.• Familiar with mechanical and electrical elements of HVAC systems.• Knowledge of energy-efficient design and green building standards.• Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.• Team-oriented, with a strong desire to learn and develop within the role.• Full clean driving licence (travel for site visits and training required).• Fluent English and professional demeanour.• Willingness to attend manufacturer training in Ireland, the UK, or Europe.• Able to work independently, manage a diary, and meet reporting deadlines.What's on offer• Competitive salary (commensurate with experience)• Company pension scheme• Employee discounts on products• On-site parking• Bike to Work Scheme• Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift schedule• Paid holidays and Christmas period closure• Ongoing training and development opportunities, including international manufacturer trainingSupportive work environment with opportunities to progress within a growingJob Category: Service Engineer HVAC EngineerJob Type: on siteJob Location: Co Meath
