Senior Sales Ops Manager - Scale, AWS Strategy & Operations

AWS SMGS is looking for a Senior Sales Operations Manager to join their Global Sales Strategy & Operations team in their Scale team. This role combines hands on analytics with operational excellence and strategic thinking, where you'll use data analysis and modeling to support Sales Leaders in the SMB and Scale teams. You'll play a key role in maintaining business health and driving data-informed strategic decisions across the region.

This role combines technical expertise with business acumen to analyze complex datasets from multiple sources. You'll be instrumental in delivering insights and intelligence that directly impact our decision making processes.

Key Focus Areas
  • Managing sales performance reporting analysis
  • Conducting analysis for trends, observations and developing recommendations for sales strategy across EMEA
  • Delivering actionable insights to EMEA wide stakeholders

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of diverse datasets to uncover meaningful business insights
  • Design and deliver regular and on demand business analytics with stakeholders
  • Maintain monthly health of the business
  • Monitor and evaluate existing performance metrics
  • Transform complex data into actionable recommendations
  • Deliver strategic insights to guide business decisions
  • Provide data driven recommendations through detailed analysis

The team is always focused on delivering the best results for our customers by working backwards from their needs. Our team is dedicated to supporting new members. We have a broad mix of experience levels and tenures, and we're building an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing and mentorship. The team has extensive visibility to EMEA Directors and Senior Leadership Team given the strategic nature of the role.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership
