The Role

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced event sales professional who wants to be part of a fast-paced team and contribute to the commercial development of London s newest and most flexible event venue.

You will maximize sales across 15 major events spaces at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.The nature of events include: meetings, conferences, exhibitions, private events and brand activations for 20-10,000 guests.

You will be expected to meet or exceed individual targets. To maximise revenue by selling across other events and opportunities from within the THFC portfolio.

As Senior Sales Executive your responsibilities will include the creation of creative and compelling proposals from inbound enquiries. You will also be given scope to discover and engage new sales prospects whilst maintaining customer satisfaction and relationships.

You will assist and support on developing sales projects as the business develops.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver on individual and team sales targets to ultimately grow the number of Conferences and Events at the Stadium
  • Track weekly performance against agreed sales targets and business objectives
  • Utilise all booking systems to effectively manage sales pipeline and transition clients through the sales cycle
  • Create compelling proposals from inbound enquiries
  • Work with the Commercial Manager, Operations and Catering teams to ensure maximum profitability for every event
  • Manage the delivery of targeted initiatives to secure maximum sales
  • Conduct well prepared client meetings and Stadium site visits
  • Negotiate closure of all sales and ensure a seamless transition to the event delivery team
  • Represent the Club positively at match days (occasional), PR events, exhibitions and conferences, with a view to maximising sales
  • Deliver timely sales reports to line manager, identifying any upcoming risks to hitting budget and also suggesting opportunities to maximise revenue

  • Proven track record in sales and exceeding individual targets
  • Ability to create, develop and manage a sales pipeline
  • Strong customer service skill set, ability to build upon new and existing relationships
  • High performer consistently achieving activity levels and KPIs
  • Experience developing sales strategies and developing new business
  • Experience of strategic prospecting and cold calling capability at executive level
  • Excellent presentation-writing and presenting skills
  • Experience within a sales team environment in a venue or event agency would be essential
