Senior Sales Executive - Financial Institutions

This role requires a candidate who is willing to relocate to Japan.
Our Japan sales team combines global resources with deep local expertise, working closely with Japan's leading financial institutions to deliver innovative data driven solutions. Responsibilities and Impact- Drive revenue growth by identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities with Japan's commercial banks, insurance companies, and asset management firms.
- Build and nurture long term relationships with key decision makers, ensuring trust and sustained client satisfaction.
- Conduct tailored product demonstrations and presentations, addressing specific challenges faced by Japanese financial institutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product specialists and client support, to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support for Japanese clients.
- Develop in depth understanding of the Japanese competitive landscape, regulatory changes, and client needs.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets while maintaining the highest standards of service and client relationship quality.
- 3 10 years of sales experience, preferably in financial services or technology solutions.
- Native level Japanese (written and spoken) and business level English communication skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Japanese business etiquette and a consultative, relationship focused sales approach.
- Experience selling financial data, analytics, or technology solutions to institutional clients.
- Established network within financial services industry (banks, asset managers, securities firms).
- Knowledge of capital markets, investment processes, and relevant regulatory environment.
