Job Description

The Senior Sales Engineer's focus will be in businessdevelopment, managing and building strong relationships with newand existing clients, and providing technical support for ourgrinding media products and services. This role is an excellentopportunity to take your career to the next level. The preferredcandidate will be based in Perth, focusing on APAC, although thereis some flexibility in respect of location.

The role

  • Provide authoritative Technicaladvice and support on Cast High Chrome grinding media,particularly it's value in mineral recovery circuits, toour Sales team and customers.
  • Develop and manage salesinternationally, building strong business relationships withexternal stakeholders, suppliers, and / or advisors.
  • Develop Business strategy forexecuting sales plan for new and existing product.
  • Build new sales domestically andinternationally, soliciting and negotiating sales according toBusiness Plan.
  • Co-ordinate with existing Salesteam, Customer Service, Applications, Metallurgy and otherpersonnel to expeditiously execute sales and support for ourproducts and
  • Managing yearly and monthlycustomer forecasts, as well as maintaining technical andcommercial data files in co-ordination with other businessunits.

What you Need:

  • Mineral Processing, Metallurgy Degree or Masters from anaccredited institution.
  • 10 years mineral processing experience with deep knowledgeof milling, mineral processing, and related technical productapplications with specific knowledge of Cast High Chromemedia.
  • Business professional with well-established network in themining sector and related international account managementexperience preferred.
  • Extensive technical knowledge, with ability to synthesizeand communicate technical details and present value-basedbusiness proposals to customers and sales team. Cast HighChrome specialist knowledge is essential.
  • Experience working in an international, multidisciplinaryenvironment with engineers, consulting staff and projectmanagers.
  • Highly effective communicator - verbal, written andpresentation skills, with a collaborative approach to bothcommercial and technical matters, delivering persuasiveproposals, reports and presentations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills, withsuperior negotiation skills.
  • Team motivated to work with internal teams for productdevelopment tailored to customer requirements.
  • Strong business acumen, integrity, excellent judgement, anddecision-making skills. Efficient time manager with brilliantorganisational abilities. Self-motivated, problem-solver withloads of energy.
  • Highly creative and flexible self-starter who has a strongtrack record of proven results.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, asrequired.
