Senior Safeguarding Lead (DSL) Child Protection Leader

Nether Stowe Schoolis seeking an experienced, dedicatedLead Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)to join our committed team. As Lead DSL, you will:

Take overall responsibility for safeguarding and child protection across the school.

Lead and manage a team of DSLs, ensuring best practice in all safeguarding matters.

Act as the first point of contact for safeguarding concerns and liaise with external agencies.

Ensure staff are trained and confident in safeguarding policies and procedures.

Contribute to creating a safe and supportive environment for all students.

What you'll need to succeed

Previous safeguarding experience within a school setting.

Hold, or willing to undertake, the DSL qualification.

Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.

Is confident in handling sensitive information with discretion.

Is committed to promoting the welfare of children and young people.
