Job Description

Our client is seeking an electronic design engineer with strong RF experience to support the design and development of implantable electronics and controller devices. Working in a fast-paced environment that requires creativity and a positive attitude towards problem -solving, the successful candidate will play an integral part of shaping the future of healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RF Power Transmission Circuits
• Design and develop RF Communications Circuits
• Failure analysis; design of test protocols; device testing & test reports; product validation
• Perform frequency analysis and simulation for boundary case or worst-case conditions
• Development of electronic product PCBA for medical device industry
• Documentation of specifications, requirements, etc.

Required Experience

• Bachelor / Masters / PHD in Electronic Engineering
• Experience as in RF Electronic Circuit Design, analogue circuit design and SPICE simulation
• Knowledge of active filters, mixers, LNAs, and VCOs, signal integrity, impedance matching and termination
• Experience in embedded electronic design
• Experience in Wireless Power Transmission
• Experience in Wireless Communications using Agile Transceivers
• Experience developing noise models and link budgets
• Experience with wireless communication protocols
• PCB layout experience with high-speed/RF PCB layout and simulation (Altium)
• Experience with typical electronic laboratory test equipment: spectrum analyzer, network analyzers, oscilloscope, etc
• Experience developing electrical power models and budgets, thermal modeling
• Experience in circuit optimization and calibration methods
• Experience with EMI/EMC testing and mitigation techniques
• Experience in embedded software and software defined radio
• Hands-on experience translating embedded device to finished product
