Job Description

This rapidly growing international insurance group have created a new role within their London finance team. As part of a small local team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented senior leadership team in a broad financial and management reporting role. Core areas of responsibilities will include

  • Leading the preparation of financial reports / MI for group entities under both UK and US GAAP
  • Lead the preparation of the annual statutory reporting including IFRS17
  • Quarterly management accounts and reporting templates
  • Annual specific reporting for Solvency II
  • Preparing both the quarterly and annual plans, forecasts and budgets for group entities including liaison with senior stakeholders across the business including capital management, actuarial etc
  • Assisting with various process improvement projects

This broad role would suit a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with direct experience of working within the insurance / reinsurance markets, looking for a broad and progressive finance role. Being part of a small and growing team this role requires someone who looking for a role that can build on their current technical accounting skills in a wider and more varied finance position.
