This leading Lloyd's and company underwriters has an excellent market reputation and offers a dynamic but extremely friendly and inclusive working environment combined with a generous benefits package. They are now looking for an experienced Ceded Reinsurance Technician to join their City of London operation.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years experience in outwards reinsurance administration and practices. Experience with reinsurance automatic calculation tools would be beneficial.

Providing support for the reinsurance purchasing process including preparation of quote schedules for sign off and management of wordings.
Capturing, calculating and recording reinsurance amounts whether proportional or non-proportional.
Issuing statements and recoveries.
Preparing outwards reinsurance technical accounts including review and calculation of cash losses, profit commissions and portfolio transfers.
Outwards Excess of Loss recoveries, monitoring for reinsurance recoveries and issuing premium adjustments.
Agreeing company reinsurance statements.
Monitoring of aged debt.
