Overall Purpose of Job

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

• Excellent knowledge of departmental exam protocols and application to the clinical indications or surgeon requesting the exam.
• Demonstrate a high level of clinical knowledge to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the role, including keeping abreast of development technologies and their likely impact.
• Demonstrate evidence of experience working with multidisciplinary teams at clinic and administrative level.
• Awareness of JCI requirements and ability to enforce/apply this consistently throughout the year.
• Strong problem solving / troubleshooting skills for equipment errors to resolve at a local level before escalation to CSR/ Medical Physics.
• Demonstrate an awareness and appreciation of the service user and a commitment to providing a quality service; evidence of ability to empathise with and treat clients, relatives and colleagues with dignity and respect.
• Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and the multidisciplinary team.
• The ability to apply knowledge to best practice.
• A commitment to assuring high standards and strive for a user centred service.
• The ability to manage and maintain a flexible approach in a rapidly changing environment and willingness to undertake such additional duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Person Specification

Qualifications:

• Qualification must be recognised and validated by CORU

Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in Radiography
• Demonstrate experience of working with a team of radiographers.
