Job Description
Overview

Asgard Modular Manufacturing are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its off-site manufacturing team specialising in the manufacture of "turn-key" cleanroom modules, data center modules and utility plantrooms for "blue chip" clients.

The off-site manufactured modules incorporate many different design features and installations:

  • Steel / aluminium structural frames
  • Internal & external architectural finishes
  • Mechanical & electrical installations
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and collating accurate, detailed, and timely tenders based on drawings, specifications, bills of quantities and other information to secure profitable work orders. The role will involve sourcing subcontractor and supplier quotations, analysing information for ambiguity, risk and qualification and seeking clarification where necessary.

The successful candidate will assist in the ongoing development of systems and procedures used in tendering and will keep up to date with contractual changes and other developments within the industry. They will work both in a team and on their own initiative and will have excellent IT skills including familiarity with MS office applications including Excel and a QS/Estimating or related package.

Qualifications

Candidates should have 5+ years' experience in an estimating/surveying role in a contracting or a specialist contracting background together with a relevant third level qualification.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm, Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm
