Senior Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor Drogheda €80-90K

Inform3 are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic and busy commercial team based in Drogheda. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a range of existing projects across both local sites and Dublin, ensuring all commercial aspects of contracts are effectively managed and controlled.

Our client is looking for a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor with strong experience across multiple sectors, including heavy civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead commercial and contractual management across multiple projects
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
• Prepare, negotiate, and agree project budgets and variations
• Monitor costs, identify risks, and resolve commercial issues proactively
• Drive procurement activities, including tendering, analysis, and subcontract awards
• Develop and manage procurement schedules to meet project timelines
• Value completed works and ensure accurate, timely payments to subcontractors
• Produce cost reports, forecasts, and reconciliations to track project performance
• Support project delivery through close collaboration with site and management teams
• Attend key project meetings and ensure follow-through on all commercial actions
• Mentor and guide junior surveyors, supporting their professional development

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline
• Minimum 7+ years' experience within the construction industry
• Proven experience across multiple sectors, including heavy civils
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Highly motivated, proactive and a strong team player
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
