Specialized in civil engineering and engineering structures, Bouygues Travaux Publics is one of the world leaders in land use planning and sustainable infrastructure construction. The company is committed to diversity and is open to all talents.

We are recruiting a Senior Quality Manager to join us at the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), based in Avonmouth, playing a key role in assuring delivery across one of the UK's most significant infrastructure programmes.

As part of the CWA, we are supporting the construction of Sizewell C, a 3.2-gigawatt nuclear power station that will generate low carbon electricity for around 6 million homes. This landmark project will underpin the UK's energy security and provide reliable, clean power for at least 60 years - making quality, assurance and compliance absolutely critical to success.

In this role, you'll be a senior member of our Quality function, working closely with delivery teams, supply chain partners and stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered in full compliance with Sizewell C requirements, statutory obligations and ISO 9001 standards. You'll lead by example, embedding the right behaviours, driving continuous improvement and strengthening a culture of quality across the business.

Key responsibilities
  • Implementing and maintaining the project Quality Management System
  • Coordinating and assuring quality deliverables across the project and supply chain
  • Providing guidance and review of Supplier Quality Plans, ITPs, Method Statements and related documentation
  • Performing surveillance activities onsite and offsite, raising observations and non-conformances where required
  • Driving continuous improvement, LEAN initiatives and digital quality solutions
  • Leading investigations, assurance workstreams and improvement actions
  • Supporting external accreditations including ISO 9001 and industry licences
  • Advising senior stakeholders on all aspects of quality, compliance and best practice
About you
  • Degree qualified in engineering or science, or equivalent extensive experience
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor trained
  • Strong background in quality management on large, complex projects
  • Confident working with senior leaders and challenging ways of working constructively
  • Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders and build trusted relationships
  • Detail focused, proactive and committed to driving high standards

This is a high impact role for someone who wants to shape quality outcomes on a nationally important project while working in a collaborative, inclusive and professional environment.

If you're ready to lead quality excellence and make a lasting contribution to the UK's low carbon future, click the link to apply and join us at the CWA.
