Senior Python Developer - Python, Risk, PnL, Attribution, VaR Back-Testing, London

A Tier 1 Investment bank are looking for a Senior Python Developer with strong Risk and PnL experience to join their Equities Risk and PnL team.

Project is a rewrite of a PnL system - Attribution/VaR Back-testing. Building out this system

This is a 2yr project. Analysis and basic build out has been underway since Feb 2026.

Requirements

• Looking for a Risk/PnL Python guy - Risk is key.
• Not a Quant but a software engineer that has worked close to a desk
• Ideally worked closely with equities Front Office but not a deal breaker
• Maths/physics/quant degree nice but not essential
