Job Description
Overview

We're looking for a Senior Project Planner to play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. In this role, you will develop, maintain, and optimise project schedules using Primavera P6, providing clear visibility of timelines, critical paths, risks, and resource requirements to support informed decision-making and successful outcomes. Working closely with stakeholders across all levels, you'll align on project scope, produce detailed schedule, cost, and resource plans, and support bids with robust planning. As a valued member of the project management team, you'll help drive the successful delivery of large, complex projects while representing ITI Group professionally.

We are looking for

Experience and Knowledge

  • Undertaking or completed a relevant Project Management qualification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
  • A good understanding of project management with exposure to various stages of the project management lifecycle.
  • Experience in producing, analysing and advising on Project Performance data, and determining root causes and impacts.
  • Experience of NEC Contracts.
  • Experience of project planning for complex engineering / construction projects.
  • Knowledge of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), critical path analysis, earned value management (EVM), and resource loading.
  • Mastery of MS Project, Primavera P6, or Asta Powerproject.
  • Appropriate Degree in Science, Engineering or a similar subject.
Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to read and interpret charts and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to demonstrate a logical approach to problem solving.
  • Proven ability to engage with, influence, and manage communications at an operational level with the project team and both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Flexible, co-operative and enthusiastic attitude to work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and inclusively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail with a structured and methodical working style.
  • Understanding of working with inhouse manufacturing and requirements of associated workflow requirements.
